The message of the gospel speaks loudly in the space of the silences that condemn us. When in the space of the silences we hear that our value is defined by what we’ve done, the gospel tells us that our value is as children of God. When in this space we hear that we have no value, the gospel tells us that Jesus has given us great value. When they tell us we’re alone, the gospel tells us we’re loved and never alone. God is our Father, Jesus our Brother. And together, as Christians, we’re one family under God. In the most recent live stream of our “Stronger” series, we talked about how the message of the Cross Overshadows the Weight of Our Past.
